Bethany Hope Parker was born near Dallas, Texas on December 8, 1994, though moved to Birmingham, Alabama a few years later. From a very young age, she would create stories and characters in her mind, though never thought to write them down until recently. She can often be found sitting somewhere alone writing fervently in her notebook or typing hastily on her laptop.

Bethany also enjoys working with children, as well as animals of all kinds. As a child, she would continuously ask for a puppy, but since her mother is allergic, her wish was denied. Instead, she acquired every other possibly animal, including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, frogs, rats, and parakeets. Aside from animals and children, she loves office supplies of all kinds and feels the need to arrange colored objects in rainbow order.

Bethany wrote her first manuscript during her junior year of high school. The story began as a simple way to relieve boredom, but soon evolved into something much greater. Her interest in the story grew as she wrote, and soon enough she had an entire series planned out: The Corripian Chronicles.

Bethany Parker is now a freshman in college. She signed with Tate Publishing & Enterprises in August 2012, and her first novel, Mark of the Corripian, is a young adult science fiction/fantasy novel set to release on February 25, 2014. She has chosen to use the pseudonym “B.H. Parker” to publish her book.
